This year's Mojo Football Banquet will be held on Saturday, January 21 at the MCM Grande Fundome (6201 E. Business 20).  The evening will featured catered food, a look back at this past season, and player recognition awards.  Tickets are available at the football office by the Fieldhouse and also at Athletic Supply.

Since 1996 several of you have come to rely on MojoLand as a source for Permian football news. We thank you for your continued following and support of the Panthers. The MojoLand fantasy football leagues made their debut in 2004, free to play on Yahoo. This year marks the eighth and final season of the three leagues. This weekend's finals include:
Agape Angels vs. V R Raiders, AHS Fan vs. KylGrafx Katz, and Dirtslingers vs. Renegades.

The annual Texas High School football District 3-5A selections for All-District players has been released for the 2011 season. Among those named, Permian placed three on the First Team. The Panthers added six to the Second Team and another five to the Honorable Mentioned.

Everyone is welcome to the Playoff Pep Rally to be held this evening at the PHS Fieldhouse. Beginning at 7pm, it will be a pre-curser to the Texas High School football Class 5A Bi-District game between the Permian Panthers and Arlington Bowie Volunteers. The game is scheduled for a 7:30 kickoff in San Angelo on Friday night.
